In November 2010, 16 women from four continents traveled through the Andean highlands and the remote, pristine rainforest of Ecuador. We traveled in partnership with The Pachamama Alliance at the invitation of the Achuar peoples of the rainforest. Our stated intention was to Embrace the Divine Feminine in this most feminine place on our planet.
We were greeted by the warmth and beauty of Ecuador at every juncture. In the rainforest fresh pink water dolphins and flocks of butterflies including the brilliant blue morphos delighted our hearts. The rainforest embraced us with all her magic. We began our journey as strangers and soon recognized we are sisters. Our journey was filled with laughter, wonderful, ah-ha’s, and magic. We pushed the envelope on many levels and came out the other side renewed and altered.
